Shoulder, Wrist, Hip & Knee Pain
Joint pain, stiffness, weakness or reduced movement can often be influenced by how the joint itself, surrounding muscles, posture and movement patterns are functioning.
DOES THIS SOUND FAMILIAR?
01
Shoulder Pain or Restricted Movement
Pain, weakness or reduced movement when lifting the arm, reaching overhead or lying on the shoulder.
02
Wrist or Hand Pain
Pain, stiffness, weakness or tingling around the wrist, hand or forearm during work, training or daily activity.
03
Hip Pain or Stiffness
Pain around the hip, groin or buttock that may affect walking, sitting, exercise or lower-back function.
04
Knee Pain or Instability
Pain, stiffness, clicking or weakness when walking, climbing stairs, squatting or exercising.
WHY DOES IT KEEP COMING BACK?
Recurring joint pain is often influenced by more than the painful joint itself. Posture, movement patterns, muscle imbalance, joint restriction and the way the spine, pelvis or limbs are loading can all contribute. That is why I assess the whole movement chain rather than treating only the sore area.
HOW I TREAT IT.
01
Joint & Movement Assessment
I assess the affected joint, surrounding muscles and movement patterns to identify where the restriction or overload may be coming from.
Neurological & Orthopaedic Testing
02
Strength, reflexes, sensation, stability and orthopaedic tests help clarify joint, nerve and muscular involvement.
Chiropractic & Extremity Adjustments
03
Treatment may include specific joint adjustments, soft-tissue work and movement-based care for the shoulder, wrist, hip or knee.
04
Corrective Movement Plan
Where needed, I address posture, biomechanics and movement patterns to reduce repeated strain and improve long-term function.
